Referrals to Chapter One Psychological Practice
Chapter One Psychological Practice welcomes referrals from professionals supporting adults, children, and families who may benefit from psychological assessment or therapy with an HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist.
We aim to provide timely, evidence-based psychological care and maintain clear communication with referring professionals where appropriate and with client consent.
Who Can Refer
We welcome referrals from:
GP practices
Paediatricians
Schools and SENCOs
Psychiatrists
Allied health professionals (e.g. speech and language therapists, occupational therapists)
Charities and community organisations
Individuals and families may also self-refer.
Typical Referrals
Examples include:
Adult experiencing persistent anxiety or burnout
Child struggling with emotional regulation or anxiety
Family seeking psychological consultation regarding behavioural or emotional difficulties
Concerns about possible ADHD or autism requiring psychological input

About the Practice
Chapter One Psychological Practice is led by Dr Samuel Chu, an HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist with experience working in NHS services with both adults and children.
